It is just one day at a time.
When you are diagnosed with cancer, or you are in a cancer treatment you can not ask yourself about the future. You have to live the day.
The worries and the anxiety need to go some place else.
We have to focus on something important in our lives. There must be something that help us through the day.

One day at a time, for a whole new lifetime.

Five Years
Five years past already!!!
On June 9, 2004 I walked into a surgery room with an uncertain future. But, I am here.
Like me, like many other women you can do it also.
SURVIVE is the only verb we know.

Monday, August 4, 2008

Today somebody is suffering knowing the truth of a new diagnose.
My heart is with her one more time, like those other days when friends or family faced the news of cancer.
I can not explain yet how or what it is, but a special, different conexion is established when the truth is reveled between some people.
For her..." Here am I with you...you are not alone. Here we are, the women whon survived Breas Cancer and the ones that honor their battle"

What do I want with this?

Just a place to share our fears and not feel alone. A place to read something new. A place to bring your sad story or your triumph.

We all have good days and bad days. Days with light and days with the most deep darkness.

I hope that we all find the light in the turning point and see the end of the tunnel.

Share your battle, find release and give another the oportunity to see the light.

THE TURNING POINT

For one reason or another, we reach the turning point once in our lifetime.

The time for new experiences and change that trace a new direction in life.

For me was the lost of my mother, my Breast Cancer and my divorce...everything together.

After four years I can say that was turning point.

We have new and old feelings, we wake up in the middle of the night wondering about the future or even the next day. We star looking for a hope or a positive change, but most of the time we feel in a very deep, dark hole.

Just then, is when you start thinking of something positive. Like a rescue, somebody or something rich your tender and devastated soul giving you a reason to fight, to wake up each morning with hope.

Is not easy or simple...we need to look inside and trained our self for the battle.

Finally, I decided to create this space to share, learn with everyone who get to the turning point.

When Survive seems to be an heroic action and everything change .

SURVIVE

Because just one person inspire me every minute of my life...

Because I lost her 4 years ago after an heroic battle to Breast Cancer...

I dedicate this space full of life and support to her...
